Dice MailTo

This is a rendering experiment I did with RenderZone to study the use of area lights. I created the dice using primitives, then booleaned out the numbers. I took photos of my mantle and wall from my last apartment, and used these as textures. This image also uses final gather, and a tiny dash of ambient occlusion. The image does fine without ambient occlusion however, as using this type of lighting is more like real light anyway, in that it creates attenuated shadows.
